Adventure Time’s BMO – For Reals!

It’s likely a madman has created the living (non)breathing real world version of Adventure Time‘s beloved BMO character, but it’s probably more realistic to believe that the internet would melt itself down upon seeing this piece of technological wonderment for the first time. Of course, had it actually the ability to breathe, it would probably tip the scale in either direction between the ultimate in adorable or creepy.

Either way, it exists and it’s impossible to look away. Built by someone with a Youtube channel called Bob H, this BMO plays video, sings, and prattles off lots of nonsense that only makes sense to Adventure Time fans, but that’s okay. It (thankfully) doesn’t walk on its own, but that’s because its innards are just a Raspberry Pi connected to an HDMI LCD screen. The actual sounds and pictures were created in Adobe Flash using clips from Adventure Time, but I know more than a few people who, if they could get their hands on it, would enter into the only lifelong relationship they would consider for the rest of their lives.

If you want to see more from Bob H and his potential future iterations of BMO, check out his website. And, yes, it shows you how to make a BMO of your very own, learning from his mistakes and the long gaps between posts.

Or just keep watching the video on a loop and making that *squee* sound you’ve been making for the last 5 minutes.
