Hasbro Pulse adds the Ghost to your Star Wars Rebels Fleet – SDCC 2023
I dare you to not tell your partner that you just spent $500 on a starship.
Introduced in all its massive glory at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 at the Hasbro booth, this intricately detailed starship toy is a must have in your rebellious campaign against the Imperial oppression of the galaxy.
As part of the Star Wars Vintage Collection 3 3/4 scale action figure series, this Haslab designed, Hasbro Pulse exclusive ship is breathtaking to behold. Whether you’ve watched the Star Wars Rebels animated series or not, you can’t deny this thing is a work of art, especially in the eyes of any Star Wars toy collector, young or old.
I was lucky enough to catch some close up shots of the Ghost while the designer has removed the protective case and was showing it off for the drooling fans at the booth. Here’s a bit of what I captured.
The attention to detail that went into even the smallest things is jarring. From the blast and scorch marks on the hull to the stains left all over the well-used floor inside and the unique styling of each of the crew’s cockpit seats, just like in the show, this thing begs to be assembled, maybe framed, and then hung on a wall. Or maybe played with, by children. Or possibly adults. I don’t judge.
If it reaches enough backers, retailing at about $500, it will likely ship in the fall of 2024 and will become an instant collector’s item for any Star Wars Rebels fan. If fully funded in time, the ship will included carded figures of Hera, Zeb, Kanan, and Ezra. What – no Sabine and Chopper? I have a feeling they’ll be available soon enough. Throw in Mon Mothma while you’re at it. And that guy with the huge mutton chops. I’m too lazy to search his name right now.
If you haven’t watched the show, I think it’s about time you started watching so you can know what all the fuss is about. Hey, maybe it will make an appearance in the new Ahsoka series coming next month to Disney+?
This is possibly the scrappiest, most versatile ship in the rebel fleet next to the Millennium Falcon. Because, seriously, no matter how great this ship is, nothing beats the Millennium Falcon. But that’s just me.
Buy it anyway and set it beside the Falcon and compare yourself. Because the person who buys this ship already has at least one version of the Millennium Falcon in their collection, guaranteed.
